ARCO Recovery Therapy

ARCO Recovery Therapy

ARCO recovery therapy runs through various stages and programs, starting with a screening, intake counseling, assessment, medical/psychiatric consultation, treatment planning, case management, psycho therapy and psycho education.

Individualized plan with a screening:
We start with a Screening test, just to understand the level of addiction and which treatment package suites you. As soon as you register, our intake counsellor will get in touch with you and carry out this initial screening, intake and suggest the suitable package and assign you with an expert therapist. We start with a Screening test, just to understand the level of addiction and which treatment package suites you. The intake counselor will also study if you are fit for the online therapy or refer you to an in-patient facility, if required.

Orientation and Assessment:
Once you get a therapist, you are ready for the first session through a zoom video at your convenient time. The purpose of this session is to work on goal setting, rapport building, get an orientation about the therapy schedules, and an assessment process to ascertain your level of dependency and its effects on various areas of life, like medical, mental, legal, social, family, spiritual and economic status. Therapist will explain about the treatment process and accompany you through your recovery process.

Medical/ Psychiatric Consultation:
In the second stage of the intervention, you are assisted to get an online medical or psychiatric consultation with a Registered Doctor who will assess your medical status and prescribe medications for a home based detoxification process. If your condition requires an in-patient care, he will advise you for a week long hospitalized detox. This OPD detox process will take minimum one week.

Treatment planning and start of therapy sessions:
Once your goals are set, the treatment plan will give you the roadmap for the recovery journey. ARCO will assist you in your journey with individual sessions, group therapy and psycho education. Treatment planning comprises your therapy schedules, life style changes, selection of a therapy model, ethical guidelines, and your commitment to cooperate. With your assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plan in place, you’re ready to start your recovery journey.

Case management & Psychotherapy:
Your therapist will help you in working with different areas of your life and make appropriate referrals if required. You may be guided with Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) or Motivational Intervention, or 12 step programs, depending on their suitability for you. The therapy runs through individual sessions, group therapy and psycho education and the duration for a primary package is around 45  days, which is extendable.

Transition planning:
A transition planning is essential for smooth transition from treatment intervention to a continuing care which includes initiation to a self- help or mutual help program in recovery such as Alcoholic Anonymous, Narcotic Anonymous, etc . You may be advised to develop a follow up program that suites you. If you require further assistance, you may be referred to our Recovery Coaching program. You could also join the regular online AA or NA sessions offered at our own platform or join a local group. Our Counsellors will be available for follow up sessions after the primary treatment process too.
